Oversea's Information
The UK offers an array of opportunities within social care for overseas workers and Service Care Solutions has vacancies across the UK that overseas workers may be interested in.
An increasing number of vacancies within social work are being filled by workers moving to the UK from overseas. With a social work qualification and registration with the GSCC (General Social Care Council) you may be able to work as a social worker. If you have worked with vulnerable clients in another capacity (e.g. with substance misuse clients or as a counsellor) we may still be able to place you into work either on a temporary basis or permanent basis.
In order to be successful in applying for these posts you must be eligible to work in the UK. This may mean that you have an EU passport, or a relevant Visa to work in the UK (either for a fixed period of time or on an ongoing basis). For more information on what visa or permit you may need, please contact the British High Commission in your home country.
When you have succeeded in obtaining the necessary right to work in the UK, Service Care Solutions can help you to find a post working in the UK – this can be done when you arrive in the UK or from your home country.
