What does you role as a recruitment Consultant involve?
I am responsible for recruiting within the North of England. I recruit community, general and mental health nurses with different specialisations.
What does your day-to-day look like?
Being responsible for a big geographical area, I spend most of my day speaking with candidates, exploring what they want to gain from their next role, then going away to find a role that matches their requirements. As I recruit within NHS Trusts, a big part of my job is to ensure all my candidates are compliant and up to date, so no day is the same! I also concentrate on reaching out to new candidates, understanding if agency flexibility is of interest, if so, we begin the onboarding process!
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I find enjoyment in helping my candidates find a role that suits their needs and lifestyle, taking pride in communicating clearly. Mostly, I am fond of building relationships, both, with my clients and candidates, my priority is to be sure that both parties are happy with the outcome.
