About Tom

Tom is a Recruitment Consultant in our Substance Misuse team, lets get to know him better.

What does your role as a Recruitment Consultant involve?

I recruit around the North West of England, placing candidates throughout Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria.

I recruit for:
  • Support Workers

  • Recovery Workers

  • Nurses

  • Managerial Roles

What does your day-to-day role look like?

I start everyday with a bowl of porridge whilst I check and review applications, ensuring that we're identifying the best candidates for open positions. I spend a portion of my day sourcing and reaching out to potential candidates, making sure to connect with the right people who could be a great fit for a company.

Alongside this, I focus on business development activities, exploring new opportunities for growth and fostering relationships with partners and stakeholders.

What do you enjoy the most about your role?

I enjoy all areas of my role, but my favourite aspect would be speaking to new people and building strong, long-term relationships with people. Additionally, it's also really refreshing to see how down to earth people are.

Which Service Care Value do you think resonates the best with your role?
