1st Line Support

Job description: My Client, a local authority in Cambridgeshire, is currently looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to work on an initial 2 month contract basis.

You will work remotely with schools across the local area to deliver high quality technical advice and support services. This will include providing support for various Windows Operating Systems, Windows Servers, and general applications not working.


Experience Required;

* First-hand experience of computerised administration systems
* Technical understanding of LANs, WANs, fileservers and other networking hardware.
* Experience in email systems, various desktop operating systems, web and Proxy servers
* Helpdesk Support experience - providing 1st line Telephone Technical Support, using remote diagnostic software, call logging, escalation, resolution and closure.
