Job description: Role: Accounts Payable Officer
Location: London Borough Camden, NW1
Work pattern: Full time - 35 hours, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing Contract

I'm looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to work in their busy Finance Department within a Housing Association. You will be responsible for processing all invoices and payments. The successful applicant will have previous experience with a payments background preferably be AAT qualified.

Key Responsibilities
*You will process purchase ledger invoices, credit notes for the company and all subsidiaries as well as process credit card and pre-paid card transactions on a monthly basis.
*You will raise weekly payments to suppliers and contractors via BACS, automatic and manual cheques.
*You will provide weekly and monthly payment reporting.
*You will provide excellent customer service to all suppliers and internal customers.

Experience:
*You will possess previous experience working in a similar role.
*You will have experience of CIS Subcontractor payments.
*You must have experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, maintaining a high level of customer service.
*A good knowledge of IT software packages including Excel and Word.
*An accountancy related qualification.
