Job description: Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Force in Cumbria for an Admin Assistant to be based in Carlisle.

The primary responsibility of the role is to provide general administrative duties within the Central Ticketing Office.

Key responsibilities:

-Open incoming post, record all correspondence on computer and prepare files for appropriate decision by Deputy Manager
-Responsible for preparation of all documents, including Driving Licences and payments for -transfer to Fixed Penalty Office.
-Produce daily printing through the computer system.
-Operate electronic mailing system for printing, folding letters and preparation for posting.
-Produce letters through VPFP and Microsoft Word.
Maintaining the filing system.
-To deal with enquiries and queries from members of the public.
-To deal with telephone enquiries from Police Officers, Magistrates Clerks and Fixed Penalty Offices.
-Liaise with Police Officers, Clerks, Police Civilian Staff and Fixed Penalty Office to resolve queries relating to fixed penalty issues.

Please note, as this is a role with the Police, the successful candidate will be subject to vetting, therefore will need to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
