Job description:

Are you looking for a role in Newcastle? Do you want a fast-paced work environment to learn and grow in? We are looking for a hard working self-starter that can communicate efficiently and professionally. Candidates should be highly organised and ready to work in a role that constantly changes. As well as this they should be able to work closely with the sustainable development team to help them provide the best service possible. Candidates should also be comfortable with extensive use of the phone and email services in order to make reservations and travel arrangements for the Programme Director.

Grade: Band 4 Administrator
Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours a week.
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
* Work independently on a day-to-day basis, providing high quality, accurate and timely administrative support to the Programme Director.
* Ensure filing is kept up to date in line with relevant policies.
* Manage the diary of the Executive Programme Director, organising travel and/or accommodation where necessary.
* Plan and arrange meetings for executives, shareholders and stakeholders.
* Deal with incoming and outgoing calls and emails, as well as coordinating responses and initiating communications of behalf of the sustainable development team.
* Monitoring and managing a shared inbox, correspondence and manage office systems with high accuracy and professionalism.
