Job description: Service Manager, Adults Services, Falkirk

In partnership with Falkirk Council, I am currently recruiting for an Adult Service Manager for an initial period of 3 months. The position is to provide leadership, vision and managerial direction in designated areas of delivery of Social Work Adult Services, under the direction of the Head of Service and in accordance with the Health and Social Care Partnership's joint strategic plan.

The post is for full time and pay rates are to be submitted with CV's.

Working as part of a senior management team the postholder will:
* manage and develop designated areas of social work adults service delivery including management of performance, budgetary responsibility and management of people.

* To have accountability for management, delivery and performance of high professional quality services

* To ensure services are delivered to required objectives and standards that meets national, corporate and resource requirements

* Lead continuous improvement and where appropriate redesign of existing services and supports within designated areas

* Contribute to ensure strategic fit with changing policy and legislative demands and public expectation within designated areas

RESOURCES
The Manager will be responsible for the management of the budget relating to their service in conjunction with the Head of Service. This will include the budget for services, equipment, accommodation and employees as appropriate
