Job description: Adult Team Manager needed to join a well-established team to cover Maternity Leave at Bradford Council. Please apply now as this is an urgent need.

Bradford City Council are currently recruiting for an Adult Team Manager to be based in Keighley. This role is to manage a well established Learning Disabilities Team due to the current manager going on maternity leave.

The rate of pay for this role will be negotiated however will be expected to pay between £35 - 45 per hour
As a Team Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing a range of service users with learning disabilities and their carers
Minimising and managing levels of risk
Providing assistance, guidance and direction to colleagues
Leading on and completing holistic assessments and reviews of the social care and general health needs of individuals with learning disabilities
Working in line with the Council's 'Promoting Independence' commitment
All aspects of case management including safeguarding and mental capacity assessments
Adhering to the standards of proficiency set by the Health and Care professional Council
Organising your own workload, in a complex, demanding and pressurised environment.
Managing and using financial and performance information

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate for this position will have extensive experience of working as a Team Manager within a Learning Disabilities or similar setting. Has a willingness to learn new skills on the job and be able to work within a fast paced team environment.
