Job description: Adults Service Manager.

Service care solutions are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to manage Mental Health, EDT, Professional Development Unit & Joint Training operational teams.

The role is initially for 6 months, this will then be reviewed and more than likely extended.

Key responsibilities;
*To be responsible for the strategic direction and policy development for Mental Health, EDT, Professional Development Unit & Joint Training. To develop short, mid and long term service strategies to support Adult Social Care and corporate plans
*As a member of the Council's Management Team, to support the development and delivery of the Council's vision, values and strategic objectives with a management role on a range of directorate and corporate policies and tasks
*To be responsible for the management of an agreed budget for Mental Health, EDT, Professional Development Unit & Joint Training, influencing the annual budget setting and realignment processes to meet identified priorities ensuring the best possible financial management.

More tasks and responsibilities will be discussed at interview stage.
