Job description: Anti-Social Behaviour Administrative Assistant, Basildon
A local authority in Basildon are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the ASB Team including taking initial calls over the phone, via email or face to face, using a number of computer systems, fluent with using Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills and proven experience of providing admin support to a team

The Role
The focus of the role is to provide administrative support to the Anti-social Behaviour Team, this will include the following duties:
-To take referrals for complaints of anti-social behaviour, nuisance and harassment face to face and via the telephone.
-To respond to any enquiries or complaints involving Anti-social Behaviour via telephone, email or the website.
-To provide advice to other departments, and residents on anti-social behaviour matters in consultation with officers.
-To open a case and enter details upon receipt of initial complaint from residents.
-To send out standard letters on behalf of the Neighbourhood Nuisance Officers and Anti-social Behaviour Officers and upload to CRM.
-To send out satisfaction surveys on behalf of the Neighbourhood Nuisance
-Officers and Anti-social Behaviour Officers and record results when received.
-To contact residents who have not returned satisfaction surveys and complete via telephone.
-To contact residents as and when directed by officers.
-To log and distribute all incoming post.
-To arrange the ASB team meetings and distribute the agenda prior to the meeting.
-To place orders electronically for uniform and any equipment required by the ASB team.
-Invoice preparation
-To keep records of the mediation referrals
-To undertake general administrative tasks such as typing letters, filing and photocopying.
-To attend any public events as supported by the Anti-social Behaviour Team.

The Candidate
To be successful in applying for this position, you will require excellent administrative skills, being fully proficient in MS Office. You will also require Knowledge of the Crime & Disorder Act 1998 and ASB legislation and issues, due to the cases you will be dealing with.

The Contract
This is a 3 Month contract, running until the end of January initially, working 36.25 hours per week.
