Assistant ASB Officer, Cambridge

Job description: An interesting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Anti-Social Behaviour Investigator for a local authority based in Cambridge. The authority is seeking a candidate with previous experience of ASB and complaints management.

The Role:
Your responsibilities in this role will include the following:
-Assisting the ASB Officer with taking and prioritising of complaints to the local authority and allocation to appropriate team
-Responding to enquiries and complaints of ASB and neighbour nuisance.
-Preparation of files for legal proceedings
-Taking minutes and actions for meetings regarding ASB
-Use of Microsoft Office package and updating of in-house database software

The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience of handling ASB and dealing with confrontational individuals. You will also need to be computer proficient as a large degree of the job will be office based.

The Contract:
This is an initial two-month contract with a high possibility of being extended.
The hours are full time, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9.00 and 17.30.
