Job description: Assistant Caretaker - Cardiff

We are currently recruiting for an assistant caretaker role for a local council in the Cardiff area.

Job Specific

*To coordinate the upkeep, repairs and maintenance both internally and externally of the Community hubs and Community Living Schemes

*To undertake all routine maintenance tasks and general repair work as requested by the Hub Management Teams.

*To check the maintenance request book for tasks to be completed. Set priorities with District Hub Managers.

*To be able to change priorities and carry out duties that may be required in unexpected situations.

*To undertake painting, low level repairs and general upkeep duties for Hub.

*Ensure that the grounds are free from litter. Ensure bin areas are kept clean& tidy.

*Ensure that all tools and equipment are kept securely, in good repair and fit for purpose.

*To record, update and report relevant information.



Working hours- 37 hours per work. 07:00 am -18:00 pm on a rota.
