Job description: Assistant Contract Manager required ASAP based in Sevenoaks, working for a housing association.

This role is on a 6 months fixed-term contract.

The purpose of the role is to:

Manage contractors to ensure performance of the contract exceeds minimum standards
Project manage small refurbishments or major repairs of properties, including the decanting of tenants
Prepare basic specifications to enable contractors to quote for works
Manage a small budget of 50K and works associated with it
Liaise with contractors to ensure any fire risk assessment works are completed
Co-ordinate the reconciliation of works and costs provided to external clients
Provide support to the Project Managers within the Asset Team

Candidates will need:

Driving Licence & own vehicle
Proven project management or contract experience
Detailed knowledge of using a variety of JCT and partnering contracts
Ability to communicate and influence contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders
