Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for an Assistant Director of Service to lead an award winning charity that supports people with learning disabilities across Westminster and London Boroughs.

Salary: circa £50,000 per annum + plus £250 BONUS FOR APPLYING THROUGH OUR AGENCY!

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time permanent position
*37.5 Monday to Friday - some flexibility on the days and times of work as a family friendly workplace
*Occasional weekends and nights for charity events/ board meetings/inspection activity

Daily Duties:
The organisation is a London based charity that supports people with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as people with autism and more moderate needs. In addition, they support older people with aging health issues and end of life, as an alternative to nursing homes.
They provide a variety of services, mostly supported living for over 18s but also numerous children's services and some small residential settings for over 18s.

You will oversee 3 Operations Managers, acting as line manager, in addition to having input and oversight of over 40 services across 5 London boroughs currently leading on health matters but also ensuring a holistic approach to health and social care.

Essential criteria for the successful candidate:
*Degree in Nursing
*Proven experience in leading different teams, managing operational changes across different departments, delivering performance and cost improvements, working to and achieving KPIs set by commissioners and regulators whilst assessing, identifying and managing risks
*A proven track record of success working within an operational role within healthcare (including CQC registered)
*Clear understanding of the Learning Disability sector, a proven track record of working with learning disabilities
*Previous management experience and working knowledge of relevant care standards/legislations
*computer literate to a high standard across all Microsoft software

Standard daily tasks would include:
*Contributing to the development of the business.
*Understanding the learning disability care sector full range of regulators and regulations
*Supporting Operations Managers to understand and run their services effectively & managing failures
*Identifying opportunities for business development
*Creating a culture where equality and diversity are valued and promoted
*Undertaking formal equality impact assessments
*Enhancing company profile and reputation
*Supporting fundraising and marketing strategies

Candidates will need to provide sufficient knowledge, experience and reasoning for:
*Significant current practical and management clinical experience which includes working with people with learning disabilities.
*Knowledge of the legislative and quality frameworks for the sector and the role NICE and other clinical guidance and best practice
*Experience of managing the development of services through troubleshooting and managing change
*Ability to gather and analyse relevant evidence with practical experience of analysing information and formulating related results and action plans
*Proven ability to identify trends and allocate time, skill and experience in crisis as well as planned prevention health work.
*Significant experience in budget management including analysis and action planning
