Job description: A Band 4 Assistant Practitioner is needed for an Adult Community Mental Health Service in Ipswich for a short term contract with guaranteed consistent work and competitive rate of pay!

All roles are for an initial 3-month contract length and likelihood of extension!

Band 4 temporary pay rate: £14ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full Time: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00
*Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension)
*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP!

Daily Duties:
Working as part of the Ipswich Adult Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) you will support service users over 25 within the community, including people's homes, with moderate to severe mental health problems.

The service treats service users with mental health issues such as:
*Non-psychotic disorders
*Severe depression
*Anxiety
*Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
*Eating disorders
*Psychotic disorders
*Schizophrenia
*Bipolar affective disorder
*Cognitive impairments
*Alzheimer's disease
*Other dementias
*Learning disabilities
*ADHD

You will cover the East Suffolk area and therefore must drive and have access to a car. The role will involve working independently to support service users and maintain patient records.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
