NHS Health Care Assistant, Band 2, Cambridge

Vacancy for a Health Care Assistant to join a multi-disciplinary team, assisting in the rehabilitation unit in Cambridge.

Working as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the provision of care for service users.

The post holder will provide support and care for patients with physical health needs within a
multidisciplinary setting. They will undertake assigned tasks under the general supervision of a
registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of
nursing care.

This is within the Cambridge Rehabilitation Unit which provides inpatient rehabilitation to 36
patients

The hours of work, are earlies, lates and long days, working flexibly (minimum 3 days) across a 7 day rota

The hourly rate for the role are:

£13 p/h Monday - Friday

£16 p/h Saturdays

£19 p/h Sundays

The ideal candidate will have an awareness of treatment outcomes, recovery tools, care planning, assessment of risk and have experience.
