Job description: Are you a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse or a Band 6 Charge Nurse looking for an exciting new role within the NHS? Service Care Solutions have a brand new opportunity to join a mental health inpatient ward based in Kings Lynn!

Temporary pay rate Band 5:
*Days: £18ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £22ph ltd
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £26ph ltd

Temporary pay rate Band 6:
*Days: £24ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £30ph ltd
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £36ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full or Part Time flexible shifts - The requirement is to cover mainly day shifts and sometimes night shifts.
oEarly: 07:30 to 15:00
oLate: 13:00 to 21:00
oNight: 20:30 to 07:30am.
*The ward operates 24 hour working
*Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension) and manager requires the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
You will be working on a 16-bed mental health inpatient ward, which provides assessment and treatment for working ages adults who may be detained under The Mental Health Act.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a brand new acute service in a busy and challenging but rewarding role supporting individuals suffering from depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and personality disorder. You be a part of a strong team who work closely together and will be given the opportunity to work across CRHT and an acute ward in a supportive environment to build on your skills and experience.

You will be working within the nursing team to provide person centred care identify the most appropriate treatment and recovery plans with a primary focus on the assessment/recovery model.

There is a handover of care between each shift to ensure care packages are maintained and each patient's presentation, risk, daily activity, progress and needs are shared with the whole team.

Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
