Job description: A Band 5 OR 6 Mental Health Nurse is needed ASAP on an NHS Adult Acute Ward based in Great Yarmouth - 3+ MONTH BOOKINGS and flexible shifts.

Temporary pay rate Band 5:
*Days: £18ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £22ph ltd
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £26ph ltd

Temporary pay rate Band 6:
*Days: £24ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £30ph ltd
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £36ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time Nights OR Day shifts on a rotation:
oEarlies: 07:00 to 15:00
oLates: 07:00 to 15:00
oNights: 20:30 to 07:30
*The ward operate 24/7 with a flexible shift pattern
*Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension) and manager requires the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
You will be working on an 18 bed inpatient ward which provides assessment and treatment to adults experiencing for acute mental disorders including depression, bipolar, psychosis, and crisis resolution.

The ward is a modern, light and well-proportioned unit which benefits from an attached gym and Occupational Therapy unit.

You will be working within the nursing team to identify the most appropriate treatment and recovery plans with a primary focus on the assessment/recovery model .

Receiving daily input from the home treatment team you will support service users through their journey to return back safely into the community.

Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
