Job description: We are looking for either a Band 5 or Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist Mental Health Recovery and Wellbeing Team based in Basildon within the NHS.

*Band 5 temporary pay rate: £19ph ltd
*Band 6 temporary pay rate: £25ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*The service operates a Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
*The role will be for an initial 3 month contract length (likelihood of extension) and the manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP.

Daily Duties:
You will work as a member of the Recovery and Wellbeing nursing team in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to patients to help them lead as independent a life as possible. Service users may be suffering with mental health difficulties such as:
*Depression and related disorders
*Anxiety disorders
*Personality disorders
*Perinatal disorders
*Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
*Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

Duties include:
*Undertaking assessment of risk and formulating care plans to manage and minimise risk.
*Planning, implementing and reviewing interventions
*Providing advice and information to service users, their carers and their families in order to alleviate distress
*Providing clear, accurate and concise documentation of the service users care
*To work within the Physical Wellbeing Team; depot clinics, Clozapine clinic and promoting the physical health monitoring
*To participate in team meetings

You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within a multi-disciplinary team and therefore team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
