Job description: Service Care Solutions have had an exciting opportunity crop up in Lancashire looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join an IAPT service in the NHS. The position is full-time (37.5hours) Monday through to Friday for the next three months with potential of extension. The position is Band 5 paying £18-£21ph(Ltd) depending on previous experience and shift worked.

Responsibilities:
*To work within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service.
*To provide high volume, low intensity interventions for clients with mild to moderate depression, based on a cognitive behavioural model.
*To undertake patient-centred interviews, identifying areas where the person wishes to see change, make an assessment of risk to self and others, provide assisted self-help, liaise with other agencies and provide information about services.
*Work may be face to face or over the telephone
*To work with people from many different cultural backgrounds and aged over 18.
*Collect information and make clear records in each session to be used going forward for patient management and patient supervision.

Person Specification:
*Must be a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) or hold relevant PWP or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) diploma with post-qualifying experience.
*Must be registered PWP with either BACP or BABCP registration.
*Must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role
