Job description: Service Care Health are recruiting for a Band 5 Recovery Nurses to work in Ipswich.

We are offering 2 x Part Time contracts work as a recovery nurse/ODP within an ECT Team. We are looking for fully qualified general nurses (RGNs) who have 12 months+ post qualification experience in adult nursing within a theatre setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the NHS, which in turn could enhance future career progression.

Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to-
*The post holder will be responsible for the safe recovery of patients receiving Electro Convulsive Therapy, (ECT).
*To ensure that the patient has cardiovascular and respiratory stability, an adequate temperature and relief from pain as well as neurological competence following treatment.
*To work closely with all team members, sharing skills and information at all times.
*Undertake mandatory training annually as required including, Manual handling, fire safety and ILS.
*Support and encourage ideas for post anaesthetic recovery within the ECT department, develop and improve care, facilitating the process of change.
*To actively participate in clinical supervision and appraisal sessions as well as team meetings.
