Job description: CPN, Early intervention in psychosis, Band 6.

Vacancy working within the Home Treatment Team, based in Hackney. Working in a community setting treating working aged adults.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative qualified CPN to provide high quality services to assist in interventions in the community.

A CPN is needed to join a busy team, treating working aged adults who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The role will involve planning, implementing, recording and reviewing a comprehensive package of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary Team. The candidate will be fully responsible for carrying out full clinical and risk assessment and be sensitive to their patient's needs whilst reporting the risk to senior staff where necessary.

The aim of the candidate will be to reduce social exclusion, stigma and the potentially disabling effects of psychosis. This will be achieved by quality engagement and care coordination, as well as, educational, training and health promotion. This post requires the individual to work as a senior clinician and therefore demonstrate leadership qualities and contribute to the day to day function of the team and development of the service alongside your role as a care coordinator.

High quality care and ensuring standards are the highest possible, are crucial.

Candidates must be a qualified RMN with a valid NMC Pin, and must have previous experience working in a community setting.

The role is an initial two-month contract, with scope to continue past two months, working Monday - Friday 9-5.
The hourly rate for this role is £28 p/h.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own caseload, and to be able to produce complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential.
