Job description: An NHS Mental Health Liaison Service are looking for an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work long days and night shifts, in Harlow.

Temporary pay rate:
Standard Days: £26ph
Nights & Saturdays: £31ph
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £36ph

Hours and length of contract:
*The service operates 7 days per week, Monday to Sunday
o3 Long days and one night shift to be worked each week
oLong days: 07:00 - 19:30
oNights: 19:00 - 07:30
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP with an initial 3 month contract length.

Daily Duties:
You will work as part of the Liaison Service to assess and advise on management of patients presenting with mental health difficulties.

These service users are both working age and older adults and have been either admitted to hospital wards or are referred from the Accident and Emergency department.

Service users are suffering from a range of mental health issues such as depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, psychosis, self-harm and eating disorders and are finding it difficult to cope with day-to-day living.

You will be given a caseload and be expected to assess their needs and formulate care plans to manage and minimise risk. You will also be expected to evaluate and review care packages and supervise and manage lower banded staff.

You will be expected to work within the Multi-Disciplinary team and therefore team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
