Job description: A Band 6 Project Manager is required to join an NHS Older Adults Acute Mental Health Service based within Ilford!

Temporary pay rate: £25ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time 37.5 hours per week
*Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (flexible working available)
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP with an initial 3-month contract length.

Daily Duties:
You will be working within an Older Adults Acute Mental Health NHS ward for males over 65 years of age. These service users are deemed to be frail and have either functional mental health problems such as depression, anxiety or psychosis or organic mental illness such as dementia or other brain injury conditions.

Daily Duties include:
*Assisting the Applied Research and Development Project Manager and A&RD Leadership Team with delivery of work streams within the A&RD Business Transformation Strategy
*Support projects to develop and deliver against project plans
*Identifying key milestones and using quality improvement methodology to track each Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle to measure improvements and to demonstrate a positive change
*Engage with and work within the project management systems including maintaining a progress/risk log and record relevant issues and reporting on progress relating to projects
*To support the A&RD PPE Co-ordinator in absence of the A&RD Project Manager

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field - Delivering projects within the NHS, service transformation and management of change.
