Job description: Band 6 RMN needed for Children & Young Persons Mental Health Service - Maidstone, Kent

A Band 6 RMN is required for the Children & Young Persons Mental Health Service working in Maidstone, Kent attending different Pupil Referral Units. The contract is for a minimum period of 3 months.

You will require a full driving licence and to own your own vehicle in order to travel around the community.

The hourly rate for the role is £25ph.

The working pattern is 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Roles and Duties

You will be travelling around the community visiting PRUs to provide liaison, consultation, brief interventions and train & supervise staff at the PRUs. You will deliver a high quality community nursing service to people with mental health problems.

You should be capable of managing your own caseload whilst working in an organised, professional manner to high standards. The role will also require you to supervise other staff members in the delivery of care.

Given the role requires work with children and young people, similar experience or that within a CAMHS environment is essential.

Please also bear in mind our £250 referral fee bonus for any nurse you refer who we place in to work on a 3 month contract.

We also offer a £150 sign up bonus for any new nurses that register with our agency. This will be paid in your first pay packet.
