Job description: I am currently looking for 2 Business Analysts to work on an initial 4 month contract in Hampshire.

This role requires candidates to have ideally worked both in the public sector and with technology experience.

My client are a local authority and require 2 candidates to work in a team of both permanent and contract business analysts on a variety of different projects. Ideally candidates should be able to start at the beginning of December.

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
* Support Business Relationship Managers and Architecture teams to translate business requirements to IT requirements and solutions
* Identify interdependencies
* Understand constraints
* Scope and size solutions
* Manage and control changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Support business case development:
* Support the Service Development team to suggest a high level functional solution
* Develop project estimates (in conjunction with the Project and Solutions teams)
* Develop high level financial model

Essential Skills and experience
* Minimum of 3 years public sector and Technology experience
* Experience in commercial organisations
* Experience in business requirements gathering, and in translating business requirements in technology requirements
* Business Case including finance
* Ability to understand business strategy and drivers
* Ability to translate business requirements to technology requirements
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Customer management skills
* Good analytical skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Happy to work independently or as part of a larger project or programme team

Desirable skills & experience
* Preferably experience of medium to large organisations
* Business Analysis qualifications
