Job description: Role: Business Support
Location: Ilford, IG1
Work pattern: Fulltime - 37 hours, Mon-Fri
Start date: ASAP
End date: 6 month temp contract.

I'm currently recruiting for a Business Services Assistant to work for a local authority. The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive administration service. Experience or knowledge of local government would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, have the ability to work to tight deadlines and possess excellent IT skills.

Key Responsibilities
*You will be responsible for providing effective business and admin support to all the housing needs and strategy teams.
*Undertake basic financial duties including processing invoices, processing cheques and payments and generate transaction reports to team mangers. ,
*To receive, respond to and refer telephone calls to the appropriate officer.
*To provide excellence customer service standards at all times.
*To meet KPI performance targets and customer satisfaction targets for the service area.

Experience:
*Experience of working in and administrative and finance role.
*Experience in producing financial information and data.
*Experience of delivering services in a multi-cultural community.
*Experience in using different IT software.
