Job description: Are you looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist looking for a new role? Do you have a passion for having a positive impact on children's' lives?

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner in the Nottinghamshire area. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours over 5 days and must be flexible. The placement will be for an initial period of 2 months with the likelihood of extension.

Job Purpose - Band 6 Crisis Community CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner

The post holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team and responsibilities of the position will include:

*Work with universal service professionals to promote and support the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and families through contributing to professional consultation and training
*To enhance access to the mental health services for children and young, promoting timely assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention within a multi-agency framework
*Work within a community setting, providing therapeutic mental health assessment and intervention.
*Work within the CPA framework
*Utilise Routine Outcome Measures so to ensure partnership working which is goal specific
*Build and maintain positive relationships with other agencies.
*Support the eradication of stigma associated with mental health services
*Support partnership working through offering children, young people and families choice and flexibility in the service that they receive
*Promote the safety and welfare of service-users and their family
*Co-ordinate and facilitate an appropriate discharge plan
*Maintain a professional attitude so to be a representative of the wider CAMHS service

*Nursing or Other Relevant Qualification
*NMC/HCPC Registration
*Substantial experience working with children, young people and families.
*Previous community experience
*Ability to use and provide clinical supervision
