Job description: A fantastic opportunity is available for a Mental Health Practitioner who is interested in working with young people and children in Leyland.

The position is based at a CAMHS service in Leyland and is community based, initially on a 2-month temporary contract, commencing ASAP.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Temporary Pay Rate: Band 6- £22-23ph depending on experience (Ltd)

Main Duties: The CAMHS Practitioner will be responsible for providing health care and support for children and young people through creating care plans, conducting assessments and delivering the correct treatments.

Teamwork skills are essential as the successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team with various healthcare professionals.

As this role is community based, a driving licence and access to vehicle is essential.
Person Specification: The applicant must be an NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or HCPC Registered Social Worker.

Previous experience in a similar service is essential.
