Job description: Are you a CAMHS Practitioner looking for a new opportunity in Birkenhead?

The role is based in a CAMHS Team, working with adolescents aged 14 - 18. The role is initially on a 3-month temporary contract, due to commence ASAP.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Pay rate: £22-22.50ph (Ltd) dependent on experience.

Main Duties: The CAMHS Practitioner is responsible for ensuring that quality care is provided to service users. They must be able to confidently engage with service users, in order to implement efficient care plans and provide emotional support. They must also be able to conduct assessments and monitor progress.

Knowledge of the Mental Health Act is essential.

Teamwork skills are essential as the CAMHS Practitioner will be based in a multi-disciplinary team with healthcare professionals.

Person Specification: The applicant must also be an NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse, HCPC Registered Social Worker or a HCPC Registered Psychologist.

The applicant would also need a driving licence and car suitable for business use.
Previous experience in a similar setting is essential.
