Job description: CAMHS senior Nurse, South East London, Band 7

Vacancy working in the CAMHS Learning Disability and Neuro developmental team in South East London.

A senior Mental Health Nurse is needed to provide expert clinical nursing advice and support to nurses and other professionals both within the service and other agencies. The candidate will work with patients' families and carers, to help to educate them and the patient about their mental health problems and will hold a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and will take responsibility for providing evidence based assessments and therapeutic treatment programmes for these individuals.

The candidate will have a proven ability to liaise with and work in collaboration with other relevant agencies according to the needs of the young person.

Candidates must be a qualified RMN with a valid NMC Pin, and must have previous experience treating children and adolescents.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own caseload, and to be able to produce complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential.

The role is full-time, working Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm
The hourly rate is £29 per hour.
