Capital Works Project Manager

A Local Authority based in Cambridgeshire is currently recruiting for a Capital Works Project Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a part time, temporary contract for approx. 6 months overseeing Capital Improvement works to a Grade 2 listed building.

The purpose of the role is to tender, work with contractors and oversee the successful implementation of a £1m capital programme of improvements and refurbishments to the Councils listed building.

The main responsibilities of the role:

This role will work under the direction of the Cultural Services Manager and close liaison with the Venues General Manager, to deliver a programme of wide-ranging projects, such as a ventilation system upgrade, toilet refurbishment, redecoration, disability lifts, and new seating. The successful candidate will need to minimise impact of this multifaceted works programme on the business and venue operation.


The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £50 - £54 p/hour Umbrella Ltd (approx. £730 - £770 p/week NET after deductions) dependant on experience and qualifications.
