Job description: Cashier, Cambridge
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Cashier in Cambridge. As a Cashier based in Cambridge you will require experience of, both, handling and reconciling cash, be proficient in the use of a PC, especially MS Office packages. You will also need experience of working in a customer facing role and be able to provide excellent customer service.
Experience within the housing sector will also be favourable as the key aspect of this role is to provide initial customer contact to anyone using the cashiering services of a local authority; ensuring that customers are listened to carefully, and the appropriate action is taken. This will include assist in the prevention of rent arrears and other debts by ensuring cashiering services are administered efficiently as well as assisting in the recovery of rent arrears by ensuring the initial stages of the local authority's rent arrears procedure is followed.
This is a part time role, working 20 hours per week, on a three-month contract, running from 30th October to late January.
