Job description: Key Responsibilities

- Managing the Care and Support Quality Assurance System
- Delivering a programme of planned and ad-hoc inspections for a portfolio of supported housing and homelessness schemes
- Writing high quality and operationally effective policies and procedures
- Ensuring that effective systems are in place to deliver regulatory and contract compliance
- Managing central customer involvement initiatives and coordinating Customer
- Satisfaction Surveys across all Care and Support services
- Delivering service improvement and development initiatives and disseminating best practice
- Managing systems for capturing critical incidents, safeguarding and health and safety
- Act as a Safeguarding Officer to support operational teams in the identification and investigation of safeguarding concerns
- Analysing accidents, incidents and safeguarding's and identify actions for the wider business to prevent further similar incidents
- Analyse and present complex data and information in accessible format appropriate to a range of audiences including senior managers, frontline staff and customers.
Line management responsibility for Service Development Officer

About You

- Previous experience of quality management and service improvement activities within health and social care
- A broad understanding of the national policy context for care and support services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
- Ability to draft reports and create high standard final and summary documents including policies and procedures
- Able to identify, and get support for, service improvement measures with the ability to influence and assist staff to deliver change
- Highly organised and able to work to conflicting and challenging deadlines, supported by an ability to plan and prioritise resources
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
