Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Channel Sales Manager to work with our client who are a global technology leader that operates with the vision of bringing revolutionary products to life for a wide range of industries.
Salary £55-65k
The ideal candidate will have a minimum five years of global sales channel / distribution sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
SCS on behalf of our client are excited to be introducing a new Channel Sales Manager role to the global commercial team which will support the growth of their international presence and business within the critical infrastructure sectors. The role will be responsible for the identification, creation and management of global sales channels, and will collaborating closely with Regional Managers, to deliver on growth and profitability objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
*Identify, recruit and onboard new channels across different markets and sectors of business and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop our range of product sales through our network of partners and resellers.
*Work with Regional Sales Manages to identify requirements, gaps or new market opportunities on supporting growth.
*You will be in charge of developing, maintaining, and growing the relationship with key partners in the energy distribution industry on a global scale.
*Work with regional sales managers to develop a channel strategy, to maximise value and minimise conflict, and implement plans for growing market share, overseeing account profiles, monitoring competitor activity, help all communications with resellers, and communicating channel activities.
*Work directly with partners to proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
*Continuously train channel sales team on company offerings and drive the adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
*Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
*You will represent the company at industry trade shows
*Work with marketing department for development of effective targeted/ localised marketing efforts and campaigns.
*Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations.
*Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements including validity managements.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
*Minimum five years of global sales channel / distribution sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
*Be able to demonstrate strong ability to build relationships with channel partners and distributors.
*Expertise in engaging distributors to optimize selling.
*Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and a strong motivation to grow new business
*Excellent communicator - working across a range of global language and cultures.
*International Travel will be required, ranging from moderate to extensive.

DESIRED CRITERIA
*Start-up/Scale-up experience or experience in a fast-growing company.
*Experience with CRM software, Salesforce experience a plus.
*Experience on social media platforms such as Linkedin, for example to facilitate identification, research and recruitment of channel partners.
*Excellent skills with MS Office.
*Additional languages a positive.
