Job description: Hi All I am looking for Several Children Social Workers to Join the Family Safeguarding Team in Various Locations for Northamptonshire Council.

The exciting new operating model will enable the safeguarding teams to really focus on creative problem solving and keeping children and families together.
Signs of safety strengths-based approaches, led by our principal social worker, supports excellent social work practice and is further supported by our dedicated and experienced consultant social workers and business support. Training is readily available. The work includes children in need, child protection; PLO and care proceedings until the granting of an Interim Care Order or S.20 four-month review. A dedicated case progression manager and officer will support legal proceedings and strong links with targeted support and early help will enable smooth step-down processes.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

* You will be dealing with complex cases including assessment and appropriate management of risks and providing casework supervision to other team members.
* Provides casework supervision to other Social Workers in the team and may also supervise students, trainees, less experienced professional team members, support staff or volunteers.
* They manage complex caseloads and offer expert opinion within the organisation and to others.
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current HCPC registration
* Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in children's safeguarding
