Job description: Childrens Assessment Social Worker - Sunderland

Children's Social Workers, are you looking for a new post? Would you like to undertake the vital assessment needed to provide Children with the best possible care? If so we have a great opportunity. Working in Sunderland, we are looking to appoint 3 Qualified Social Workers to undertake the vital initial assessments to identify the unique and personal needs and support required for each individual child across Sunderland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Initial Assessment Report Writing
- Assessing the specific needs of each child
- supporting lesser experienced social workers
- Court Proceedings
- Child safeguarding issues

Candidate Profile
The suitable candidates must have an extensive experience working within a childrens social work setting. They must be able to hold caseloads of up to 20 at a time and be able to work in a fast paced work environment.

Further information
The post is for an initial period of 3 months full time, with pay rates of up to £35 per hour.

Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- DBS in place
- Experience working as a Qualified Childrens Social Worker
- Driving licence and access to vehicle
