The service specialises in therapeutic care and support for children and young people aged between eight and eighteen years.

The position is based in Lancashire working on a permanent basis. The hours of work will predominantly be Monday - Friday with occasional requirement for weekend or evening work.

The starting salary of this position is £32,000 per annum, this is negotiable depending on previous experience and qualifications up to £38,000 per year.

The sucessful applicant will ultimately be accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people within the home, and must have the mind-set that everything you do is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes for each child and young person.

The successful candidate will have 3 years proven residential care management experience in a residential childcare setting and hold either a DipSW, NVQ Level 4 in relevant Management or Children's qualifications, Registered Managers Award (RMA) or Leadership in Management Level 4+ and must also have other qualifications recognised in line with Ofsted Registered Manager requirements.

You will have an excellent understanding of Ofsted regulations, as well as the ability to lead a fantastic staff team. The successful Registered Manager will be focused on driving positive change across the residential care home and ensure that support packages meet the expectations of the residents.
