Job description: We are currently looking for a cleaner who has an excellent work ethic based in Glasgow.

Enhanced DBS/ PVG
Health & Safety
Good numeracy and literacy to record and complete documentation, eg. Water temps, legionella tasks, etc.

Shift work:
Early (8:00 - 16:00)
Flexi (9:30 - 17:30)
Late (11:00 - 19:00)

Fordneuk Service is a supported accommodation unit with 38 studio flats for men and women over the age of 18 years with issues around alcoholism and/or opiate replacement therapy. The Service provides a 24 hour support service for the people who live here. Property Assistants are part of the Housing Team within the service responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the building and including a commercial kitchen for daily breakfast and dinner service. Staff must have a PVG enabling to them work with vulnerable adults.

Tasks: - This role is 90% cleaning!
Cleaning and upkeep of all communal areas of the building eg., toilets, corridors, reception area, offices, etc.
Cleaning individual flats as required.
Adhering to COSHH requirements for cleaning products.
Adhering to Health & Safety requirements regarding use of mops, cloths, methods of cleaning.
Carrying out water temperature checks and other legionella prevention tasks on a weekly or monthly basis as required.
Providing dinner service to the people we work for in line with H&S and food hygiene. A food hygiene certificate is required.
Cleaning crockery, pots and pans, etc as part of kitchen tasks and ensuring the kitchen and servery is clean and prepped for service.
Assisting the Chef with cleaning tasks within the kitchen, putting away food deliveries and as required.
