Job description: An exciting opportunity has arrived at the agency!

Service Care Solutions are currently on the lookout for a Band 7 CBT Therapist to join a Children and Families Mental Health Service in the Lancashire locality. The post is full-time Monday to Friday on an ongoing temporary contract. The post is Band 7 pay rates depend on previous experience.

The post holder will be part of a Children and Families Mental Health Service.
Qualified High Intensity Therapists provide CBT to people with moderate to severe mental health problems including anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, the reasons behind these and how it may affect day to day life.
Demonstrates an understanding for the need to use evidence based psychological therapies and how it relates to this post.
The post holder will manage their own case load of mental health patients up to the age of 18 (CAMHS)
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities
Ability to work within a MDT team and foster good working relationships.
To have the ability to work under pressure as an effective organised lone worker.

Person Specification:
All applicants must be a Qualified Professional - Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or Clinical Psychologist currently registered with the BABCP.
Must have previous experience working within a high intensity environment
