Job description: Community Investment Services Manager, Farringdon (EC1M)
A large housing association are recruiting for an experienced Community Investment Services Manager to co-ordinate, lead, coach, manage and enable an agile team to deliver a range of excellent advice, information and guidance services in Farringdon.

The Role
The focus of this role is to lead and manage the team to provide expertise and knowledge on financial inclusion, welfare reform, employment and skills and tenancy sustainment to residents. This will include the following responsibilities:
*Work with the Head of Community Investment North and other staff to deliver the Community Investment Strategy
*To work with colleagues across the Group to understand risks to rental income and to identify appropriate Community Investment support from the team to mitigate these
*Build on existing pilot projects and access funding to replicate projects that are successful
*Identify funding opportunities and submit funding bids as appropriate, including the research for and writing of funding submissions
*Work with Customer Accounts, Home & Property Services and Development colleagues to integrate elements of the strategy across the Group
*Keep abreast of national strategies, best practice, welfare reforms, research and funding opportunities relating to jobs and skills
*Lead on internal and external communication with regard to financial skills, employment and training, tenancy sustainment and other support services including the production of programme updates and reports for both internal and external consumption (as necessary)
*Be responsible for reporting on outputs and outcomes for financial inclusion, employment and training and tenancy sustainment work
*Provide and facilitate specialist training, advice and guidance to the team
*Maximise income of customers and the business

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will require previous experience in Community Investment, ideally within a senior role. Other CI or Housing experience will be considered, as long as it is paired with strong Team Management experience.
Additionally, experience of working with people who are financially excluded, unemployed and seeking to access work, long term unemployed or unable to manage their tenancies due to vulnerability or support needs, as well as knowledge and understanding of the financial inclusion, welfare reform, worklessness and elements of social care agenda, as well as funding regimes, including the agencies and government departments which lead on this area

The Package
This is a permanent, full time role, offering a salary in the region of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum, DOE, as well as:
