Job description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker to join a CMHT in Greater Manchester. The post is full time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) for a minimum duration of 13 weeks, with review on a monthly basis. The position is Band 6 paying £22p/hr (Ltd) depending on experience.

Person Specification:
*The ideal candidate must be able to carry a community case load of 18-65 year old mental health patients, working across clinics and patients' homes in providing high quality care.
*Must be prepared to work in a busy high pressured environment and be a comfortable, effective and organised lone worker.
*To perform detailed risk assessments in diagnosing multifaceted mental health issues and to manage referrals to specialist services where necessary.
*CRHT is there support individual effectively in the community to avoid hospital admission, assessing risk, self-help and offering regular community visits.
*To work effectively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) comprising of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists and social workers.

Requirement:
*Must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC or a Qualified Social Worker registered with the HCPC.
*Must have a minimum 6 months working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc.
*Must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.
