Job description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Worker to join an Adult NHS based Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) in Greater Manchester.

The post is full time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) for a minimum duration of 13 weeks, with a likelihood of extension. The position is Band 6 paying £22p/hr (Ltd) depending on experience.

The service will provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users aged between 17 and 65 years with functional mental health conditions such as depression and psychotic mental illness.

The ideal candidate:
Must be able to carry a community caseload of patients, working across clinics and patients' homes in providing high quality care.
Must be prepared to work in a busy high-pressured environment and be a comfortable, effective and organised lone worker.
Must work effectively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) comprising of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists and social workers.

Requirement:
Must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC or a Qualified Social Worker registered with the HCPC.
Must have a minimum 6 months working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc.
Must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.
