Job description: We are looking for a Community Nurse to work with the Neighbourhood Team at Evesham Community Hospital for a 3 month period with a possibility of extending.

Shift Pattern:

-37.5 hours per week. Earlys & Lates. One weekend in 4 to be worked

Essential Criteria:

-Valid NMC
-Relevant community experience
-Able to meet the travel requirements of the role
-Own vehicle with business insurance

Main Duties & Capabilities:

Community Nurse role is to visit patients in their own homes to undertake holistic assessments and care to include the following:

-Complex assessments
-Administration of medications
-Wound care
-Leg ulcer management
-Palliative Care; symptom control and syringe drivers.
-Catheter care including catheterisation, male and female. Continence care and assessments
-IV therapy and care of central lines/ PICC Lines.

-Proofs of address dated within the last 6 months
-Mandatory training (we can provide this if needed)
-Two clinical references covering the last 3 years of employment

-Statement of entry
