Job description: Service Care are looking for experienced Community Payback Supervisors to join our clients team in Birmingham working ADHOC shifts.

If you are successful in your application, then you will be responsible for modelling and reinforcing pro-social attitudes, behaviour and feelings and, in turn, challenging anti-social attitudes of offenders doing unpaid work requirements as part of their community sentence. In order to do so you will be attending and participating in performance management and supervision sessions where you will be overseeing the offenders conducting tasks such as painting, litter picking and gardening. Furthermore, you will have to build and maintain productive liaison arrangements with Offender Managers.

In order to be eligible for this role you must have prior experience of working with offenders or vulnerable groups and have a solid understanding of anti-discriminatory practice. You must be highly organised with the ability to comply with target, guidelines, policies and procedures whilst also possessing the ability to motivate and encourage others. A full driving licence is also essential, as you will be in charge of transporting the offenders in a minibus to their project locations.
