Job description: Are you interested in working in Perinatal Mental Health? Do you have previous caseload management experience?

I am looking for a Community Psychiatric Nurse for a role with an Perinatal Mental Health Team in West Yorkshire. The role is Band 6, full time and will involve working, 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday for a period of 3 months although this may be extended.

Salary - Band 6

£20.00-£24.00 (Umbrella Limited) per hour, depending on experience.

Role Summary:

Community Mental Health Nurse will be accountable for the coordination of care plans for people experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties. He/She will work as an autonomous practitioner managing and prioritising individual caseload and will act as a Care Co-ordinator within the Care Programme Approach. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of people with complex mental health and/or social care needs. The roles also requires ability and skills to input data in the clinical information system (RIO): e.g. including risk assessments, care plans, CPA, crisis and contingency plans.

Requirements:
-Registered with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
-Nursing qualification
-Recent experience working at a Band 6 level or equivalent
-Must be able to engage with patients/clients
-Flexible
-Must be a car driver.
-Evidence of vaccination/immunity for TB (BCG), Hep B, MMR and Varicella (chicken pox).
-Must be eligible to work in the UK
