Job description: We are looking for Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN) for a fantastic opportunity to join a new intensive support Mental Health service based in Epping, within the NHS.

Applicant must drive and have access to a car.

Temporary pay rate:
Days: £26ph
Nights and Saturdays: £30ph
Sundays and Bank Holidays: £35ph

Hours and length of contract:
*The service operates 7 days per week, Monday to Sunday
oShift times are 08.00 - 20.00
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP with an initial 3 month contract length.

Daily Duties:
You will work within the Dementia and Frailty Team to provide high quality community care to Older Adults suffering from ill memory and mental health across West Essex.

The service offers support to those suffering from Dementia or if users are:
*finding it hard to recall words, dates, names or recent events
*finding it hard to follow a conversation
*difficulty in making decisions and forgetting time or what day of the week it is
*increased confusion, reduced concentration
*personality or behaviour changes
*loss of ability to do everyday tasks

You will be given a caseload and be expected to assess their needs and formulate care plans to manage and minimise risk. You will also be expected to evaluate and review care packages and supervise and manage lower banded staff.

You will be expected to work within the Multi-Disciplinary team and therefore team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
Experience in older adults mental health including dementia.
