Job description: We are looking for Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioners for a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist CAMHS Mental Health service based in Norfolk, within the NHS.

Applicant must drive and have access to a car.

Temporary pay rate:
Days: £24ph
Nights and Nights: £30
Sundays and Bank Holidays: £36

Hours and length of contract:
*Varied Shifts between:
oMonday - Friday: 8am - 12am
oSaturday & Sunday: 9am-1pm
*Initial 6 month contract (likelihood of extension)
*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:

The service provides assessment and short term treatment of under 18 year olds with moderate to severe mental health problems and you will be working as part of the Children, Family and Young Persons Service (CFYPS) to provide intervention for children under 18 years old.

As a senior practitioner with the CAMHS crisis team you will be supporting service users with complex mental health needs within the community as part of the nursing team to provide high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care based upon individual service user needs and undertake and maintain service users' Self Directed Support assessments.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
