Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurses who are interested in making a meaningful positive contribution to the lives of Children and Young Adults in Mental Health services across Essex & North East London.

Temporary pay rate: £24ph

All roles are looking to be filled ASAP an initial 3 month contract length (likelihood of extension!)

Role 1:
Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse
Part Time: 4 days per week
Team: Emotional Well-being and mental health service for young people up to the age of 18 (EWMHS)
Role Details: Managing a caseload of young people within the community
Location: Harlow, Essex

Role 2:
Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse
Full Time: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Team: CAMHS
Role Details: Triage based, undertaking assessments of children and their families mental health and wellbeing needs, this will include telephone consultations and face to face meetings. To ensure that any safeguarding issues ae identified and effectively escalated to ensure safeguarding of children and their families.
Location: Barking, Essex

Daily Duties
You will act as a care coordinator to assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care for children and young people within the community with serious and/or enduring mental health problems based upon individual service user needs and also undertake and maintain service users' Self Directed Support assessment.

You will support both service users and carers throughout the process to enhance their understanding of their behaviour and other symptoms with aim to prevent future relapse and admission and you will also be responsible for administration of medications and the assessment of side effects.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared for all positions advertised and have previous experience in the field.
